So here I am....starting off my blog...Mumbai as they truly say is the city of dreams...this city never sleeps...in times of crisis,enjoyment,celebration,mourning...this city stands as a unique one..Mumbai is loaded with people everywhere..on railway stations,roads,one can see queues of humans...Mumbai is the city of hopes and of unity according to me...It symbolises the typical and cliche NEVER SAY DIE spirit....My view about Mumbai is partly different from others'...I love it due to several reasons...On rainy days,there is no place other than worli sea face to chill out....the cafes in and around the city like CCD and Barista have been the perfect hangout places for me...Then comes the most important reason...as a city,it is the most diversified territory ever...I don't think I will ever stop loving Mumbai,inspit of its traffic,pollution,population and what not...cuz,it has given me some of my fondest memories I will ever cherish...Like my college and the Gateway of India...umm...also unforgettable places will include Bandstand,Hill road,Colaba Causeway,Fashion Street....Be it bomb blasts scarring the city or the rains disrupting daily life...Mumbai stands tall and will stand tall forever....This city supports everybody-people from all walks of life can be found here-right from the authors,publishers,financers,brokers to panwalahs,chaatwalahs and the office going people....And i just love all these elements abt the city...I am proud of the very fact that Mumbai is so helping towards everybody and I hate it when people say--Mumbai kitna crowded ho gaya hai naa?My reaction to this is(I am borrowing Kareena Kapoor's dialogue from Jab We Met)---crowded matlab kya?arre crowd hum jaise logon se hi to banta hai!!khud bhid ka hissa hai aur problem bhi khud hi ko hai!!strange way of contradicting oneself....Anyway...So may Mumbai be rechristened as Bombay or Shanghai or anything else...I will love it more than ever...and my motto will be...MUMBAI MERI JAAN....
